WRINKLE RELAXATION

Botox is used to treat wrinkles and fine lines in lots of different areas on the face and body, but the use is usually predominantly on the face and neck. This high performing product is one of the most commonly requested treatments for effective and professional facial rejuvenation and renewal.

Fine lines and wrinkles can often be found around the mouth, between the eyebrows, around the eyes and on the forehead. They are common in these places because of regular movements, which eventually lead to permanent marks or creases.

Botox helps eliminate these common signs of ageing by relaxing the muscles and stopping them from moving into the position that would cause the fine line or wrinkle. The effect is a much smoother skin, and visibly reduced fine lines and wrinkles.

All facial aesthetic treatments follow a detailed pre-treatment consultation with Dr Morrell which involves taking a detailed past medical and cosmetic history to decide which treatment is most suitable for you.

DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles and revitalise the skin while at the same time improve contours and create volume. Dermal fillers are based on hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally exists in connective tissues around the body, but which diminishes as we get older. It plays an important part in replenishing and moisturising the skin, and returning its elasticity and tone.

Dermal fillers are ideal for creases around the mouth, eyes and brow as well as for lip and cheek augmentation for an instantly rejuvenated look. They are long lasting but not permanent; although a single treatment can last between six and twelve months depending on your age, skin type or lifestyle.

All facial aesthetic treatments follow a detailed pre-treatment consultation with Dr Helena Morrell which involves taking a detailed past medical and cosmetic history to decide which treatment is most suitable for you.

THREAD LIFTING

Thread lifting is commonly known as a “non-surgical face lift”. Fine PDO (polydioxanone) threads are carefully used to tighten and lift sagging skin around the face and neck.

Due to the natural results, effectiveness and non-invasive nature of thread lifting - this is fast becoming one of our most popular treatments.

BRUXISM (TOOTH GRINDING) / TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISFUNCTION (TMD)

Bruxism and TMD related issues are a common and often under diagnosed problem. Approximately 1 in 7 people will suffer symptoms which may include

  • Headaches
  • Jaw and neck pain
  • Worn teeth
  • Joint clicking
  • Enlarged jaw muscles - causing a square jaw shape
  • Tightness in the shoulders.

We understand how debilitating these symptoms can be and are delighted to be able to offer a range of advanced solutions that can be truly life changing.
