How to find us...
IMPORTANT information for patients regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Dental services across the country are currently being re-organised
Please call us in cases of dental EMERGENCIES ONLY
In most cases this means
SEVERE PAIN, SWELLING or BLEEDING
From 26th March we are only allowed to offer telephone advice and will then be triaging emergencies for access to a centralised emergency care system which is currently being set up in the region. This will be the same for all dental practices in the country.
We are incredibly sorry to be unable to offer the level of service you would usually expect from us. Please understand that we are having to work within the constraints put upon us in the interests of public health.
Please read all of the information here for very important details about how we will manage arrangements for appointments that had previously been in the diary and arrangements for emergencies. We hope that these measures for everyone will only be in place for as long as is neccessary before we can move back to seeing many groups of you on a regular basis.
It is not simple to manage a change like this so I would be very grateful if you could assist us by following the instructions below. This is crucial to avoid our reception being overloaded with telephone calls.
PLEASE TAKE CAREFUL NOTE:
We are suspending routine dental check-ups from Friday 20th March.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL US TO CANCEL A CHECKUP – Will try to confirm with you that it is cancelled - this may be by email if we have email details for you. If you do not hear from us and we are still in the midst of the outbreak, please assume it has been cancelled - however if your appointment is many months away, it may well remain as originally arranged. Therefore do not delete it from your diary.
We will be contacting everyone who has dental treatment appointments. AGAIN PLEASE DO NOT CALL US – WE WILL BE IN CONTACT WITH YOU BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT APPOINTMENT BY TELEPHONE. Please be aware that almost all of these appointments will need to be postponed until after the outbreak.
We will re-start issuing appointment reminders by email and/or SMS once we are returning to a normal service therefore do not delete future appointments from your dairy unitl it is clear these will not go ahead.
Although I have advised you not to call us about cancelling appointments at the current time, if you later need to check on whether we have returned to a normal service, or for any other reason please contact us via the 'CONTACT' form on this website or alternatively call 01749678040. Once we are over the initial phase of the outbreak we expect it to be easier to manage your calls and organise our diaries to accommodate you.
We would like to thank you for your patience and support of the practice at this difficult time.
THE ADVICE ABOVE MAY CHANGE WITH TIME - PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU ARE UNSURE
